Terms of Service

Using Carroll County Recent Arrests means that you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

This privately owned reference is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides private-investigation or consumer-reporting services, including credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services covered by the FCRA.

Nature of the Service

This site stores no official Carroll County or Kentucky records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, or file a document. It points visitors toward official jail, court, and correctional resources and may connect users with outside research tools.

Acceptable Use

You must use the site lawfully and without harming others or the service.

  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or break any law.
  • Do not make hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site content.
  • Do not seek unauthorized access.
  • Do not operate bots or scrapers.
  • Do not disrupt access for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We and our advertising partners provide no background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. You agree not to use information for employment decisions, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance premiums, licensing or government-program eligibility, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.

External Services

Links to rosters, booking sources, sheriff and corrections sites, government portals, legal resources, and search services are not endorsements. We do not control their content, privacy practices, or availability. Review their own terms.

No Warranties

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors or security flaws, or thorough partner results. Custody and public-record data change often. Nothing here is an official government statement.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for losses or damages arising from access to, use of, or reliance on the site.

Your Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use or violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Carroll County Recent Arrests or its content partners. They may not be copied, modified, or distributed without written permission.

Changes and Access

We may revise these terms at any time, with changes effective when posted. Access may also be limited or revoked at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Kentucky Law

These terms are governed by Kentucky law. Any dispute must be filed in a court within Kentucky.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid, the rest remain effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
